Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The mn sept of public safety and dept of transportation tried to correctly install my recently purchased britax rounddabout carseat in the rearfacing, reclined (it must be reclined to properly accommodate a rearfacing infant) position. they informed me that this car seat is not safe, as it has a history of popping violently out of the recline position when installed. it demonstrated this with my seat as well, and my child wasn't even in the seat. i have since heard of other parents with this complaint, and think it is a public safety issue. it seems to me that it should not be marketed as safe in the rearfacing, reclined position. please feel free to contact me with any questions or if you should need further information. thanks. *ak |
