| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tires are warrantied for 80,000 miles. we have traveled less than 1/2 of that and the tires did not pass state inspection. when we contacted firestone they had sent a memo to their dealers stating that after april 2000, the affinity original equipment tires would no longer be warranteed to 80,000 but only 50,000 miles. the affinity purchased in their stores would retain the 80,000 mile warranty. we as owners were never notified if we had we would have taken action prior to april! we also have a 98 altima with the same tire problems at approximately the same milage point, for which i will fill a seperate report.*ak( dot number: tire size: p195/65r15 ) |
