| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Own 1980 cheve pickup w/dual fuel tanks. fuel tanks are located outside the frame structure. a impact on either side of the pick up could cause serious harm or even death to the pickup occupants and the other vehicle occupants. this is a serious design flaw made by the manufacturer. i am asking the nhtsa to assist me in locating more information or other related claims made by other owners. you assistance is appreciated and welcomed. thanks you for all the help your office has done to make our vehicles and roads safer.*ak |
