| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: According to information furnished by the manufacturer (winnebago industries) and the certification/tire label in the vehicle, the vehicle has a gawr (gross axle weight rating) of 6,000 lbs. front and 12,000 lbs. rear and a total gvwr (gross vehicle weight rating) of 18,000 lbs. by accident, i found stamped into each wheel "2,780 lbs. maximum load". my concern is that if i load the vehicle anywhere close to the maximum stated by the manufacturer, the wheels would be overloaded which could potentially lead to a catastrophic failure. i feel that this situation is at least a safety concern if not a defect. i was not aware of this situation at the time i purchased the vehicle. i am now concerned about the safety of my family when riding in this vehicle. *ak |
