Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I personally know 5 men that have bought this machine and 4 of them have this problem. while sitting at an idle the machine will not disengage the automatic transmission causing the machine to roll away. it is defenitely much worse in reverse. the machine will roll up to 5 - 10 miles per hour. the idle has been adjusted down as low as possible without the machine staling. two of these have been taken back to the dealer and they replaced the clutch assembly but some of the machines are out of warranty and it is quite costly to have this done. polaris should be concerned with safety enough to ask everyone with a problem to bring these machines back so that they can fix this before it runs someone over or even rolls down a hill with no driver and hurting someone that might just be standing there.*ak |
