Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I own a 1999 fleetwood pace arrow on 01/30/2001 i again returned the motor home to the dealership to again fix the co detector going off problem. the pace arrow has been return to the dealership on several previous occasions to address the carbon momixiode problem. each time the motor home had to be resealed. on several occasions when the generator had been running , the co detector would go off . the generator would be turned off and windows and doors were opened. the co detector would stop . in the lastest round of repairs. the fleetwood factory rep said to install a battery powered alarm, because it is less sensitive and they have to many problems with the hard wired alarms. the factory rep. also referenced the owners manuel, where it states that you should not sleep in the motor home while any engines are running. the problem is not the running of the generator while you sleep. the problem is running the generator at any time and having carbon monixiode entering into the interior of the self /fully contained motor home. |
