Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have had so many problems with my car. the biggest problems i am afraid of is my transmission failing. i have problems speeding up in my car. sometimes it will not go over 35mph without a dragging feeling. the overdrive light comes on when i drive over 50 miles at one time. i have read about other probe transmissions failing at 40&50,000 miles and now i am afraid to drive my car. i know that cars are not supposed to do that. i am not a mechanic, i do not know much about cars, only about what i have already replaced in my probe. can you please check up on this matter. that maybe the transmissions put in these cars are not that reliable. the fact that the transmission needs to be replaced every 50,000 to 100,000 miles, is not written in the owner's guide. if that was the case i would never of purchased this car. i bet is you picked 5 probes(that have not been "suped up" you would find that they all have simalar problems. i am not just writing for myself, but also for my friends that have similar problems with thier probes. please contact me and let me know what i can do before my own transmission fails. *ak |
