Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I was surprised that no warning for a door ajar was on our new vehicle. this is such a simple thing yet could save many injuries or lives. it is very hard to determine that all four doors on a vehicle are secure. i can think of many instances that a warning light letting the driver know that a door is not shut tight could prevent injury or death. this seems like such a simple thing to do that i was quite surprised when no warning of a door ajar was not on this 4 door vehicle. why has this not been address as a requirement on all vehicles or at least 4 door vehicles? is there any requirement for warning of such hazards?*ak |
