Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tires on my f150 show abnormal wear on the outside edges. ford says this is due to the suspension. ford does not have a fix. i claim that this is a suspension issue, not a tire issue. i have since bought a new checrolet tahoe. could this issue be related to the tire issues on current ford suv's? i think that the tires are not the problem rather ford supspension is the problem that causes abnormal tire wear and heating of the tires, esp. in texas. this wears the outer edges of the tires, eventually causing the outer tread to fail or seperate from the tire. this is a definate problem on the ford f150 trucks, and i think it applies to the explorer.*ak (tiresize: p235r15)( dot number: tire size: p235r15 ) |
