| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: When the pump started acting up, at first it was just stiff to turn off road on a job site, then one day it just locked up and we almost hit a tree. the dealer replaced the power steering pump, saying that international does not put a big enought pump on to begin with. a few days ago the replacement started acting up on the job sites, so i took it to the dealer and it was also bad, it tested too low of pressure, the replaced it today with the same make/ model pump. the dealer i took it to this time said that he has replaced several of these pumps. my concern is that my warranty runs out in about 25,000 more miles, at 500 miles a day, that wont be long. what if this happens again, what if next time i am unable to control the truck and hit something, or kill someone. when it goes out you can not steer at all.*ak |
