Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: This is a 2001 georgie boy motor home that has a severe vibration in the rearend and a sway that is at times almost uncontrollable. it has been to ford 3 times for repairs (not fixed). it has a dana 80 rearend that is rated a 11,000 lbs. ford weighed the coach empty and the rear axle weighed 9,960 lbs. this does not include 75 gallons of gas(472lbs) ,63 gallons of water (523lbs), people-4 @ 150lbs(600), provisions or camping gear. ford is saying this is a georgie boy problem and georgieboy is saying it's a ford problem. this seems to be a safety problem. ford has to date put on 3 sets of tires (out of round) 5 rims (bent) and the problem is not going away. dana offers a s135 rear axle rated at 13,500lbs for this chassis which may be more suited to this coach. all of the specifications are posted on www.fleet.ford.com/products_services/specialty_vehicles/motorhome_class_a_specs. this is the same situation as a case posted on your site.nhtsa campaign id number: 99v013000 for fleetwood. our coach is a 33 foot the fleetwood was a 32 foot. any help in this matter would be appreciated. thank you.*ak
