Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Reported a loud knocking noise when you crank up the engine since i first bought truck. reported problem to dealer and was told the pistons are "slapping" inside the cylinder walls due to a known problem that chevrolet already knows about it and replacement pistons would be available by december. engine is getting louder by the day and found broken metal fragments when oil was changed . waiting on dealer to respond to this issue and requesting engine be replacement now.*ak |
