Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Rear drive axel always noisy, seal broke 2 times, causing damage to breaks. there is scoring of the drive axle and housing damage. i t has been repaired but i am informed i need a new rear end but that chevrolet does not produce them. nhtsa reports indicate this is a common problem. i do not want to pay 850.00 to relace my used rear end with a used one that will function just as badly. where can i get new reliable repair parts from the factory. do they acknowledge this defect and are they making any compensation. come on this is a 44,000.00 g-20 mark iii conversion van, i would expect a better drive system than this. help please. thank you mrs. shepherd |
