Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: When the headlights are on they could go off at anytime without warning. to turn them back on i either have to pull back on the "multi function switch" or turn on the left or right turn signal. even after doing that the headlights will go off at anytime and as many times. the ford service rep and the csaa rep indicated it could be a faulty "multi function switch". i purchased this vehicle recently from a personal friend who is the original owner. also i had a 1994 ford mustang which had the faulty "multi function switch" replaced because the washer fluid was not spraying when it was turned on. it's just too much of a coincidence to have faulty "multi function switch" replaced. there should be more research done on the replacement of the "switch" to confirm that a "recall" is in order. thank you.*ak |
