| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Started the vehicle after refueling at a gas station. when i shifted into drive the engine sped up and surged forward. since i had my foot on the brake the vehicle didn't move but the force was strong enough to cause squealing and a clunk of the transmission. the tack was racing and then dropped down to normal. all of this occurred without touching the gas pedal. this happened the first time today. i started the car a second time and the engine raced for several seconds before slowing down. |
