| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Right rear speaker internal amplifier has a high occurance of failure where speaker assembly catches fire unexpectedly, filling passenger compartment with toxic smoke and possibly resulting in loss of control of the vehicle due to smoke; fire has spread inside trunk and passenger compartment in some cases. audi of america has "researched internally" the problem and found nothing; i know of several vehicles with these problems and i am collecting more information from owners. |
