Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I purchased this vehicle new in good faith. there have been numerous reports of subframe failures all over the globe and american suzuki has done nothing to resolve this issue. i am afraid to ride my motorcycle for fear that the subframe may fail and cause me to lose control or cause my passenger to fall off of motorcycle at cruising speed. a recall was done on this model of motorcycle in the uk however, no such recall has been done in the us where the majority of the bikes have been sold. suzuki knows that there is a problem because they upgraded the subframe to steel after the 2000 model. please help to resolve this issue by having suzuki recall these vehicles and install steel subframes so that everyone can be safe just like the riders in the uk. thank you. *ak |
