Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Windshield wipers are intermittent. first time it failed was with a light rain. i turned them on and they worked but the next time, they did not. one time, in a heavy rain, i had to wait because they were not working. a third time, it only started working after i went over railroad tracks. i talked to a friend at work with a 95' tahoe that had the same problem happen to him in a rainstorm and he told me that there was a recall on a module that controls the windshield wipers. i contacted a dealer to come in and get it fixed and he told me that my vehicle had no recall for the module. i also talked to another person who had two 95' trucks that had the same problem and he had to also pay for the module himself because there was not recall for his truck. this is a very dangerous situation when your wipers don't work.*ak |
