| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My 16-month old daughter has been able to unhook the harness tie that is supposed to keep her firmly in her car seat since she was about a year old. the harness tie in question is a one-piece molded plastic device that should keep the two shoulder straps snugly against the childs chest. it is used on the majority of car seats sold today and obviously has a design defect if a young child can unhook it. in the event of an accident my child would be thrown forward and receive head a neck injuries since the only thing keeping her in the car seat is the straps around her thighs. |
