Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Frame is cracking. called ducati. they said they would replace frame but i have to pay labor ($690). ducati is well aware of problems with the 900 series frame. they say giving me a new frame is in good faith, i feel they should cover all charges. if they say that this is an isolated case, why are so many frames cracking? why are the replacement frames reinforced. ducati is saying that this is a "good will" waranty and are not paying labor charges. i feel (along with many others via the internet with the same problem) ducati should be held liable. a warrenty covers wear/maintenence items, but the structure of the bike has failed. there's no telling how many people are endangering their lives by riding around on broken frames that they are not aware of. this should be a recall situation, not a "good faith" warranty. |
