Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Intermittently, when on long trips, fuel in the rear tank becomes much higher than in the front tank. this causes pressure to build up and fuel sprays out of the rear tank filler port. a quarter to a half of a tank of fuel can be lost. this is a serious fire hazard. ford claims to have no idea what could be causing the problem. |
