| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While driving home in my motor home i heard a loud noise and banging under motor home. the noise and banging continued until i was safely able to pull over to the right side of highway/freeway and stop. i noted tire had peeled and caused damage under motor home as well as to the body of motor home on the driver's side. the blow out occurred on july 20, 2002, around 4:00pm. allow me to mention that i almost had an accident on march 14, 2002, when the first firestone tire blow out happened. i did nothing except call road service to remove the damaged tire and add the spare. because it was the second incident involving a firestone tire, i called firestone tires and service monday morning. after explaining the july 20, 2002 incident, i was given the telephone number of the claims department in nashville, tennessee (800-356-4644) and spoke to a mr. shawn green who referred me to a. *ak |
