Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Complaint received via e-mail. my car which had a recall for lower ball joint inspection (not torqued to proper specifications) in november 2000. my complaint is i heard loud clanking noise emitting from front suspension with bad vibration in steering wheel. i brought the car to the dealership, where i purchased the car from to check out the noise. as a mechanic was driving the car into shop, the suspension snapped and the car and suspension fell to ground. i went to dealership and informed them that this was a recall. i was informed that the vehicle's first owner brought the car in for the recall tbs# 00s39 to a lincoln dealership in safford maryland.*ak
