| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Carbon monoxide detector went off. consumer took vehicle back to dealer. they claimed no problem found. about 2-3 weeks later, consumer was running generator in vehicle at a campsite that had lost electricity. when consumer's son went into vehicle and fell asleep for 2 hours, consumer heard a noise. went into vehicle, and noticed carbon monoxide detector went off again, and found his son unconscious. consumer then took vehicle to fire department ,where they did a test with generator, and within 15 minutes carbon monoxide hit a very dangerous level. vehicle was sent back to plant ,there they replaced complete left side from front to back of vehicle. but did not indicate where the cardon monoxide leak was coming from. *ak |
