| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The wheel bearings have been replaced 3x's, u-joints 2x's, also fuel pump, heater core(when this was repair my dash was bowed, when i went back to the dealer they told me it was worped...but it was fine before they did the heater core repair and denied any responsibility), multi-function swich, pinion seal, sway bar radiator, the power mirrors are broke for the 2nd time and have replaced the drivers door hinge 3 times and now the manifold seal is leaking. also when it gets below a certain temp, the windshield wipers will not clear the windshield these are what i can think of off the top of my head. when the break switch went i felt it was a fire hazard and safety issue cuz the break lights would not turn off so the fuse had to be pulled and had to drive the vehicle to the repair shop with no break lights. was about 5 minutes before i pulled the fuse and the back lights were very hot and it wouldn't taken much longer for the to cause a fire. the vehicle has 100,000 miles but they are easy miles and mostly highway. all maintenance has been done. this truck has one of the biggest pieces of junk i"ve ever own, would like to get rid of it but can't afford cuz everytime i go to repair it all repairs are between $400-600. i can say the only thing that has been good were the tires and breaks of which i got $70,000 miles out of but than the breaks were $$ maintenance repair cuz now we replace everything instead of turning the rotors and the break brades are very noisy.*ak |
