Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The consumer had left their fifth wheel at the campsite, with only the water heater, refrigerator, and the heating system on. when they returned, they found the refrigerator and central heat/air were not working. after checking all circuits and finding them to be receiving power, the dealer representative told the consumer to pull out the fuse panel cover. the consumer discovered the plastic yellow wire had melted. the consumer replaced it and inspected the wire nuts to insure proper installation. the consumer found some to be loose and reinstalled/re-taped them. the (running) light cover had flown off, the kitchen sink leaked, and the thermostat may be inoperative. the consumer requested reimbursement for the food that was in the refrigerator, and information on the safety defects of the vehicle.
