Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Vehicle overheated, consumer was informed that the head had cracked between 2 head bolts and the crack had opened up a passageway between the oil and water passages, causing a mix of oil and water, at this time the consumer became aware of a recall regarding the balancer shaft retainer and feels that this faulty part was the reason for the vehicle overheating, consumer is requesting partial reimbursement, when vehicle was repaired a defective cylinder head assembly was installed, this part lacks the passageway for the proper functioning of the exhaust gas recycling system and caused vehicle to fail the smog check, consumer is also requesting reimbursement for this faulty part and repairs caused by the part. *slc
