| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Graco recall #03c003000 subject: infant car seat base/missing hooks and pins. the consumer contacted the manufacturer on 5/22/2003. the manufacturer will only send a new seat when they receive the defective seat from the consumer. the consumer was concerned about not having a seat until the new one arrived. the consumer does not want to use a donated or loaned seat. graco snugride infant seat. model #8444lhig manufactured 12/23/2002. *jb the manufacturer instructed the consumer to borrow a seat. the consumer felt that this was unsafe advise because a person may borrow an outdated seat or one that was previously in an accident. the consumer was concerned with the manufacturer not handling the recall in the most efficient and safe manner. *scc *jb |
