| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: After the recall for steering column was performed, the remedy failed.*ak *ph *jb add'l information rec'd from consumer on 9/23/2003 - i was at a local post office on sunday and i had to wait 2.5 hrs for a tow truck. then george chevy in bellflower , ca told me it was not covered anymore and this was a dead item. i had to take it to a mechanic to fix it. i installed off-the-shelf (ots) by-pass kit so as to not be driving around and have it lock up. see repository for information on ots by-pass kit and other details. cat |
