| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Ltr fm john and lori redmond (co) request help in getting yamaha motor corp to recall the defective transmission on their road star motorcycles. *mr other vehicles include road stars, silverados, midnight stars, wild stars, warrior, and v-star. the consumer felt that yamaha was involved in a cover up. they were not consistent with dealing with their customer. the transmission locked up, the back tire locked up, the bike had gone into the air and hit hard on the left side. there was also a whining and or grinding sound, and a loose ball bearings. *scc |
