| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Consumer noticed a flat tire due to a slow leak which came from the rear driver's side aluminum rim. the dealer had been contacted. *ak the tire was water tested and a slow leak was detected at the edge of the rim. the tire was removed from the rim and it was observed that the rim was flaking/corroded. the edge of the rim was cleaned with a power tool and greased. the tire was installed and inflated. this was the second flat tire due to a slow leak at the edge of the rim. the first incident occurred on the opposite side a few months earlier. the same repair procedure was used. *scc *nlm |
