| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: consumer states had a 1992 lincoln town car that burned on 03-24/2000 while parked in the driveway. the fire melted the garage inserts on the house. the consumer stated the fire seemed to start from underneath the steering wheel. the consumer sent ford pictures, the vin and reported this to them. they said they would contact her, but never did. she finally contacted them ,and they told her that the car was not included in the recall because the vehicle was manufacturedin october 1992, and the recall was for the vehicles manufactured in november 1992.*ak |
