| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Consumer owns a chevy truck with recalled tires on it. bridgestone/firestone wouldn't cover replacement of the tires because the recall on covered ford excursion's. *ph the tire recall was for tread separation of the firestone steeltex tires campaign id 04t003000. the tires on the consumers truck were steeltex a/t lt265/75 load range d. the consumer was informed that the manufacturer made exceptions for ambulances and state vehicles. the consumer wants to know why privately owned vehicles with the recalled tires are not also included. *nm |
