Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Fuel leaking in engine compartment from union of rubber hose/hard plastic line supplying fuel from tank to fuel injectors. leak occurs at low (15 f) ambient temperature. fuel drips in area of ignition distributor. was alerted to potential problem by postings from other vw eurovan owners and began checking engine at start-up as weather got colder. first detected leak on january 6, 2000 with outside temp approx 15 degrees f. will attemp repair myself, replacing crimped fitting with clamp. *ak
