| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: In dry road conditions on i-5 northbound we noticed that traffic was stopping ahead of us and applied brakes. we had already slowed to approx 50mph before braking . the vehicle nose dipped as we slowed to stop, then the anti lock mech released the base brakes and we were thrown upright as we continued forward into the car ahead of us after a considerable distance during which time we were aware that we were not being slowed by the anti- lock system. we had noticed that the brakes had an unusual stopping distance in the past, but believed that this was normal as we were told by our dealer. the brakes had recently been serviced in december. there is no question that we should have had ample distance for any properly working brake system to stop us in time. *ak |
