Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Dt: the vehicle is a 1997 chevrolet pick-up truck. the fuel gauge was broken. when the consumer took it to the dealership they replaced the fuel reserve gauge and the sensor. later on there was an odor coming from the vehicle. he took it to goodyear and they told the consumer that one of the four fuel injections was leaking. because of this all four had to be replaced, which was done. the oil was also changed. on 7-15-05, the odor was coming from the vehicle again. when he contacted goodyear they told him to bring it in. after examining the vehicle they told the consumer that they could not detect the problem. they also told him to bring it back if the odor came back. the next morning it came back. when the consumer contacted the manufacturer they said it was out of warranty, so they were not going to replace the fuel tank. *jb *tt
