Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Over the entire time that we have owned this vehicle, the brakes and the abs system have not operated reliably. whenever the vehicle is being driven on an irregular or wet street (even at low speeds, below 30mph), and the brakes are applied, the brake pedal will go to the floor and all braking effect vanishes momentarily. this definitely involves the abs system, because there is the characteristic vibration of the pedal when the system is activated. abs activation during these episodes is inappropriate, ineffective, and dangerous to the occupants of the vehicle. *ak
