| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Recall notice issued 2/2000 from d-c corp. reads: lower control arm attaching brackets on vehicle may crack & separate from engine cradle. if this occurs, transmission half-shaft may pull out of transaxle & cause loss of power. this will increase a risk of accident. tried to schedule repair with three different local dealers & right tool to perform repair is not available. chrysler claims mechanics don't apply correct torque, mechanics claim tool breaks after two usages. more tools sent to dealers on 04/03/00 in massachusetts. no loaners available, no. *ak |
