Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Keyless entry malfunctions intermittently and has done so since delivery of the vehicle. when malfunctioning the keyless entry does not respond as it should to the remote unit(s) and one needs to press the remote unit several to many times before door will unlock / lock or panic alarm sound. position or distance in relation to the vehicle does not seem to make a difference, nor does weather conditions, location where parked or if vehicle is cold or warm. all occurred outdoors. in between malfunctions, it works fine. i feel not having a reliable entry / panic alarm system is a serious safety concern. the dealer has not been able to confirm the intermittent problem. note: the failure dates and mileages are various. the number of failures are more than 50. *ak |
