Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Britax roundabout car seat. our 20 month old son can easily unbuckle the restraints, thus rendering the seat useless and unsafe. the release buckle should be out of reach of the child, e.g., on front of seat between and behind child's feet/lower legs. of note, on britax's own website, their #1 "faq" specifically involves this problem and their suggestion is "parental discipline". with a 20 month old, that's not possible and we are replacing the seat with another manufacturer's seat that has a harder to reach release buckle. *ak |
