| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: the abs system has been disfunctional for three years. contacted gm for the last two years. what happens when going 10 mph or less and applying the brakes the vehicle will not stop. when this first started it happened intermittently. now, it does it all the time. there was a recall but it did not include this vehicle due to vin. the consumer could feel the brake coming back when putting pressure on the brakes. it makes a sound. had the abs system disconnected, this started happening on november 15, 2000. consumer stated gm informed him they were doing recall repairs on brakes for salt states. however,the consumer took this vehicle to the ocean, and for others who use the vehicles there. *ak |
