| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While driving home in the right lane on a two-highway, the driver's window spontaneously shattered. i was driving through a swamp-no people or construction sites around, nor was there a car next to me. as the window lost strength from shattering it bowed in and i pulled over to knock out the rest of the glass. with the remaining glass around the car, i sustained cuts to my left hand and a piece flew into my eye and tore a contact. my young daugter sustained scratches on her scalp due to glass in her hair.when we arrived at the dealer, he stated that he had heard the rear windows blowing out but not the side ones! all we wanted to was relinguish the lease, but gmc refused. we had to pay out- i feel this should be investigated as it could have resulted in fatalities.thank you. *ak |
