Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Exaust manifold ) in this vehicle as well as the maxima and pathfinder have been redesigned. however , the problem with earlier year vehicles has not been addressed. i know of 6 other owners that have had this same problem. i was advised by the dealer that the replacement bolts were much stronger. they lasted 10,000 miles. this is a well cared for vehicle in like new condition. photos of the replacement of the manifold bolts at the dealership are available and can be provided in pdf format for your viewing. a random check of any dealership records will additionally help identify this problem with these models. i was removed from this vehicle in the winter of 99 by a trucker after stopping and sleeping in this vehicle at a rest stop on return from a ski trip. these vehicles should be recalled. please contact me for any additional information required. *ak |
