Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While driving after same component was "repaired" by the dealer for a recalled item, same exact abs failure occured! service advisor asked me " was it fixed when you left?" while driving car in 45 mph zone of city 4 lane, attempted to stop for light and brake light and abs light illuminated and brake pedal became hard as a rock! with both feet on pedal, was able to slow car enough and pull into gas station. had car towed to dealer. after first "repair" i could not see any replaced parts and service ticket read " complied with recall notice". no work was annotated. found receipt from when mother-in-law had car originally checked for recall, and noticed dealer was only required to test system. if it passes, they replace nothing. defective components remain in car until failure. how many must wreck before chrysler is made to get these death traps off the road! this will be my last complaint, as i sold this car the day it was "repaired" again. i will never trust chrysler again. they had two shots at killing my family, and fate said it was not ment to be. these cars need to be off the road. they give no warning of when you will loose your brakes! one time they are fine, then you push the pedal, and you get lights and no brakes!. *ak |
