Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: The horn started sounding all by itself. i stopped it by tapping the steering column. after tapping the horn intermittantly for six miles, the dealer disconnected the right horns as an interim measure, a few days later the left horns were going off at will (stereo horns, guess that's why the park avenue is more expensive). i used a fingernail file to disconnect the clips on the left horns , they were harder to reach. after making an appointment to have the problem resolved i was informed it was going to be $700.00 for parts and aprox $100.00 for labor. the horn assembly tied to airbags"was sensitive" i was told. for that amount i could send the car to a psychiatrist and still come out ahead. should something as important as horns and airbags be tied together at a replacement cost of $800 plus? am i the only one with a psychotic horn? *ak
