| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: This is the second tire of this type to blow out. first blow out occured approximately 2 months ago at 40 mph. i bought a new tire at 6pm and dealer kept old tire. tire had been driven for approximately 2 hours straight at 55 mph in 100 degree weather. current blow out occurred after 4 hours of continous driving at 60-65 mph again in 100 degree weather. both tires had less than 12,000 miles of service. approximately 1/5 of tread became delaminated from inner core and steel belts separated.( dot number: vd1l1xd237 tire size: lt22575r16 ) |
