| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I recently purchased the 70,000 mile warranty tires described. within a couple of weeks one of the tires split apart on the side while i was traveling approx. 30 mph. it was ruled defective and replaced. on 7/28, while going 70 mph on the interstate a second tire split apart resulting in a wreck with injuries. the tire place where i purchased the tires said it failed and split apart after they examined what was left of the tire. a week later i heard about the firestone problems and i was wondering whether or not bf goodrich had had reported problems with these tires as i have had two come apart? anyway, i wanted to report this to you because if it is a problem i don't want to see anyone killed or injured any more seriously than my son and i were.( dot number: urtu11 tire size: p205/65r15 ) |
