| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Have replaced the ignition switch 3 times since january 1996. the switch has a position that controls the turn signals and windshield wipers. one of the failure modes i have experienced allows the car to start and run put disconnects the turn signals and wipers. i find this out in traffic when i need those elements. audi will not acknowledge this problem, but i notice the latest switch seems to have been strengthened where it was breaking previously. i find it hard to believe that i'm the only audi owner who has experienced failures with this switch. |
