| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: On the afternoon of july 11, the tread on my left rear tire came apart. before i could stop and pull over to the side of the road, the tread beat the side of my car causing in excess of $2,300 damage. my insurance company covered $1,800 of the damage. i feel that firestone should be responsible for the rest of the damage. unfortunately, when i had the spare tire installed, i did not save the old tire. i had all the tires replaced the following week and did save the other three. i had two other people in the car at the time of the tire separation that can verify the event.( dot number: tire size: p225/60r16 ) |
