| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tire tread separated. tires where properly inflated and where driven at normal highway speeds. i took vehicle to dealer and becuase the tires where only two years old with a little less than 30,000 miles on them they replaced it. they also fouund another bad tire which was replaced under warranty. my concern is that these tires did the same thing that the firestone recalled tires where doing. although they where not the right size nor where they made at the same plant as the recalled tires, i believe that these tires are also defect and should be investigated as well so as to avoid other possible accidents or deaths. it is a horrible cooincidence that these tires are made by firestone and had tread separations as well as the recalled tires. my goal here is to simply report the incident in the hope that the safety of all citizens are considered by investigating and possibly recalling these tires as well.( dot number: tire size: 2257r15 ) |
